Project Brief

The Vietnamese Department of Science, Education and Environment at the Ministry of Planning and Investment (DSEE/MPI) acted as National Focal Point for the project as well as host institution to the National Project Coordinator. Additionally, a National Project Coordinator, Mr. Lam Quang Huyen, was located at the DSEE/MPI, and was responsible for the implementation of activities. The project coordinator also acted as and operational liaison with the Paris-based Project Team.

A National Advisory Board gathered at least twice a year and to provide guidance and advice to the project. The Board's members were chosen to represent the project's main stakeholders, including: DSEE/MPI (Chair), the Department of Industry at MPI, the Department of Planning and Investment at the Ministry of Industry, the Department of Financial Policies at the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction, the International Finance Corporation (IFC/MPDF, the Cleaner Production Centre of Tanzania (VCPCT), the Norwegian Embassy, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and UNEP.
